My Story
Welcome to my shop.
I’m Ruth, a Jewellery designer based in Byron Bay Australia.
My love of jewellery has always been there, handed down from my Mother and Grandmother. Jewellery was used to honour every occasion in my family, birth, death, celebration, commiseration, the beginning of a journey and the end. Every piece of jewellery given to me by my family was marked by a Birthday, Christmas, Graduation, a Wedding and overseas travel.
Each piece a talisman telling a story to be treasured forever.
My creative journey started with Ceramics, I studied Studio Ceramics at Falmouth College of Arts in Cornwall in England but came to realise over the last few years that my real love was Jewellery Design.
Since living in Australia I have become obsessed with Opals, Australia’s National Stone. Each one is a little piece of magic, completely unique, water from a different age frozen in time.
I feel honoured to be creating pieces that will mark your special occasions and will weave their own stories with yours.
